Arab Group Discuss Developments In Gaza At UN Security Council

New York: The Arab Group at ministerial level held a meeting on Tuesday at the UN headquarters, within the framework of the joint Arab coordination on the developments in Gaza.

The meeting precedes a high level session of the UN Security Council, on the situation in the Middle East, slated for later today.

The meeting discussed the developments in Gaza and its surrounding in addition to the Arab efforts thereon and the aspects of Arab coordination to stop the military escalation carried by the Israeli occupation's forces.

During the meeting, the participating ministers reviewed the agenda of the Security Council high-level session.

The meeting saw the participation of Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Jordan, Palestine, Algeria and Libya in addition to the Arab League Secretary General.
