Border Guards Confirm Detonation Of Mines On Border With Belarus - No Casualties

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Border guards have confirmed that mines near the border with Belawere detonated by lightning. Andriy Demchenko, a spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, said this in a comment to Ukrinform.
"Several mines detonated from a minefield on one of the sections of the border with Beladue to lightning, no one was injured," Demchenko said.
According to him, there are strict restrictions on the state border for anyone other than units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. "Therefore, minefields threaten only those who want to come towith war," added Demchenko.

"It is reported that it was preliminarily caused by a lightning strike. The explosion damaged the bridge pillars and destroyed the railroad tracks in both directions. There is no information about the victims," wrote 'Belaruski Gayun'.
