Colombo, August 21: The Pakistan High Commission Colombo celebrated“Pakistani Food Festival & Cultural Show” to mark the 75 years of Pakistan-Sri Lanka diplomatic ties as well as the Independence Day of Pakistan in the month of August.
The event showcased the rich and vibrant culture of Pakistan in a captivating manner. From the tantalizing array of culinary delights to the mesmerizing performances that captured the essence of Pakistani traditions, every aspect of the festival was thoughtfully curated and executed.
The audience was particularly impressed by how the festival served as a bridge between the friendly nations of Pakistan & Sri Lanka, fostering cross-cultural connections and deepening their mutual bonds.

The uniqueness of the event was that all of the performances were done by Sri Lankan artists who prepared special dances, instrumental music & Pakistani songs for this event.
Another objective of the event was also to introduce Pakistani cuisines & dresses to the Sri Lankan people who enjoyed the variety of all the food & non food items.
