Jordan Shot Down Explosives-Carrying Drone On Border With Syria

AMMAN, Aug 17 (NNN-PETRA) – The Jordanian armed forces (JAF), yesterday, shot down a drone, loaded with TNT explosives that tried to enter the kingdom's airspace from Syria, the JAF's General Command said in a statement.
The Border Guard Forces in the Eastern Military Zone, in collaboration with the Anti-Narcotics Department and other military units, detected an unmanned drone, attempting to cross the Jordanian-Syrian border and enter the kingdom illegally, the statement said.
The JAF“dealt” with the drone, which fell onto Jordanian territories, it added.
The JAF's General Command reiterated in the statement, its commitment to safeguarding national borders and vowed to remain vigilant against cross-border infiltration and smuggling attempts.– NNN-PETRA
