(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - Minister of Interior Mazen Faraya on Saturday outlined the ministry's new strategies to prioritise economic growth. During a meeting with the Jordan Businessmen Association, Faraya said that facilitating the business environment and attracting investors are key objectives.He emphasised the continuous communication with local and foreign investors to provide the necessary support within the legal framework.
The ministry aims to protect investments and stimulate the national economy, besides its security role, he noted.
Faraya also highlighted the ministry's e-services, which aim to streamline interactions with citizens, businesspeople and visitors, noting that these services will be fully electronic by the end of the year. The minister also revealed initiatives to encourage investment, such as electronic visas for investors and unified residency periods for their families, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
