Eu Strongly Condemns North Korean Missile Launch

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BRUSSELS, July 14 (KUNA) -- The European Union (EU) Friday strongly condemned North Koreaآ's launch of another intercontinental ballistic missile on Wednesday for the fourth time this year.
North Korea continues to show "its intention to develop the means to deliver weapons of mass destruction. These actions threaten international peace and security" said EU High Representative Josep Borrell in a statement on behalf of the 27-member bloc.
He called on North Korea to "cease all illegal and dangerous actions that violate UN Security Council resolutions and recklessly escalate military tensions in the region." (end)
