Invaders Strengthen Document Checks On Border Between Russia, Occupied Luhansk Region

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Contrary to recent promises, the Russians continue to strengthen the borders between the Russian Federation and the temporarily occupied Luhansk region.

"Since October, the authorities of the Russian Federation announced the simplification of the border crossing with the so-called 'LPR'. However, people waited in lines, repeatedly expressing dissatisfaction as document checks only intensified. And the other day, the Russians completed the repair of the Gukovo checkpoint. Simplification did not happen," Artem Lysohor, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, posted on telegram .

As for the situation in the occupied part of the region, he said that private houses in Kreminna and surrounding villages are occupied by the Russian military. Many locals either evacuated to safe regions of Ukraine or went deep into the occupied territory, away from the front line.

"On the other hand, those who return usually cannot get home. Uninvited guests do not let the owners even into the courtyards of houses that were occupied arbitrarily. There is almost nothing left in vacated houses. According to witnesses, the Russians took away the property of Kreminna residents by trucks," the Administration's head noted.

As reported, the invaders set up military hospitals in the territory of children's camps in Luhansk region.
