Tom Cruise On First Flight Into Abu Dhabi International Airport's New Midfield Terminal


(MENAFN- asdaf news) before the movie's middle eastern debut at the emirates palace mandarin oriental tomorrow evening, tom cruise made a stylish return to abu dhabi international airport's midfield terminal, where significant portions of the movie were filmed.

on the inaugural aircraft into the brand-new midfield terminal at abu dhabi international airport, the hero of the much awaited seventh mission: impossible film touched down. tom cruise debuted special mission: impossible livery on an etihad airways boeing 787 dreamliner to commemorate the movie. the movie logo will now be present on this aircraft as etihad, the movie's official airline, flies to locations all over the world.

one of the film's most exciting and technically challenging action scenes was filmed on the building's 315-meter top, therefore midfield terminal's famous structure was also adorned with a similar motif to acknowledge its involvement in the movie.

when the film debuts in theatres on july 13, 2023, it will be the first time that the public has seen the interior of the terminal. in addition to sequences in the breathtaking liwa desert, mission: impossible – dead reckoning part one includes specially constructed sets at the airport, such as an etihad first class lounge.

the scenes filmed at the midfield terminal required 21 days of preparation, seven days of filming production, and involved 762 cast, crew and suppliers. this is the second mission: impossible movie to be filmed in abu dhabi. in 2018, a halo sky-diving scene was shot in the emirate with help from the uae military, abu dhabi film commission and twofour54.
