AIIA And Vijnana Bharati Co-Host Global Indian Scientists And Technocrats Forum (GIST) In New Delhi


(MENAFN- ForPressRelease) New Delhi, May 31,2023 – The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) and Vijnana Bharati is jointly organising a groundbreaking event, the Global Indian Scientists and Technocrats Forum (GIST) at the National Agricultural Science Complex, N. Delhi. The GI-YSRI Conference (Global Indian Young Scientists Research & Innovation) started today and will go on till June 2nd at the same venue.

The conference was inaugurated by Shri Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary Ministry of Ayush who was the Chief Guest at the event. Present at the occasion were senior faculty members of AIIA & Vijanana Bharati along with eminent personalities, scholars, and leaders from the Indian diaspora worldwide, focusing on promoting collaboration and innovation in the fields of science and technology.

The primary objective of the Conference is to introduce GIST to heads of agencies, showcase ongoing collaborations and partnerships, identify new opportunities for collaborations, and emphasize diversity, equity, and inclusion in promoting science and technology. The event serves as a platform for inviting more agencies and engaging the scientific and technological diaspora, highlighting and discussing ongoing partnerships and collaborations between the science and technology diaspora and Indian scholars and leaders, and addressing important societal needs. Furthermore, GIST aims to develop a model and platform for open and thoughtful deliberations and scientific dialogues on key national and international topics, ensuring that no individual or group is left behind.

By collaborating, engaging in transdisciplinary research, and fostering innovation, we can elevate India through science and technology.”

Additionally, it highlighted the importance of Ayurveda Aahar for agriculture and education. This partnership will greatly benefit scientists and young scholars from AIIA."

About Vijnana Bharati

Swadeshi Science Movement was started in Indian Institute of Science- (Bengaluru) by a few eminent scientists under the guidance of Prof. K I Vasu. This movement gradually gained momentum and emerged as an organization with national presence. In 1991(Oct 20-21) at the Nagpur meet, it was decided, to launch the Swadeshi Science Movement at all India Level and named it as Vijnana Bharati. Vijnana Bharati has units in 22 states across the country and contacts in 4 states. It is working in 11 different areas through autonomous institutions, independent organizations & also as project entities.
