(MENAFN- KNN India) Odisha govt inks MoU with Infosys, Nasscom to impart technical skills to students

Bhubaneswar, May 25 (KNN) With the aim to build a digital workforce in the state, the Odisha government has signed an agreement with Nasscom (National Association of Software and Service Companies) and Infosys.

The MoU aims to skill the students and existing faculty in key technologies essential in today's digital ecosystem.



According to the MoU with Nasscom, eight lakh students will be skilled through its Future Skills Prime.

The collaboration aims to build technical capacity in all streams with digital fluency and industry-curated content. This offers a wholesome career-building programme to students to be industry-recognised Nasscom-certified professionals.

Under the agreement, the primary focus will be on integrating emerging technology programmes through NSQF(National Skills Qualifications Framework) and NOS(National Overseas Scholarship)-aligned curriculum to build a future talent pool.

Infosys is working towards its ESG VIsion 2030 (Environmental, Social and Governance) by trying to inculcate digital skills to 10 million people in India. The initiative in Odisha is part of the company's CSR program.
