MES Indian School Marks World Heritage Day

Doha: To raise awareness among students about preserving our heritage sites and also the efforts required to conserve and draw attention towards it, MES Indian School celebrated World Heritage Day recently.

A special assembly was organised in all the sections where students were briefed about the true meaning of heritage, its importance and the need for its preservation.

A video presentation was shown featuring seven incredible and famous heritage sites of the world.

Students brought models of the various historical monuments and came dressed in different costumes representing their national identity.

The students of classes III and IV emphasised on the significance of global heritage sites through placards.

The teachers' in charge of the event were Jahfar Niyas. P, Anver K, Jency George, Sumitha Nassar, Nazanin Nadaf, Nisha Menon and Gayathri Srinivasan.
