Kuwait Wins Three Medals At Spain Triathlon Tourney

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, April 24 (KUNA) -- Kuwait triathlon team has won three medals - two gold and one silver - at Spain triathlon tournament which has recently concluded, Kuwait Triathlon Club said.
In a press statement Monday, Rashed Al-Kandari, head of the club, said Abdullah Al-Shammari ranked first in the 'super sprint' contest and Hamad Al-Khaldi won the same position in 'sprint', adding that Rab'a al-Hajri obtained the second place in the 'super sprint'.
He congratulated the winners for this great achievement which raised Kuwait's status at this strong championship.
He revealed that Kuwait's players would partake in some international tournaments in the next period, including the triathlon multisport championships in Spain. (end)
