An Australian woman was killed and two others sustained injuries following an accident in Hemmathagama.

The car in which the Australian was travelling, went down a precipice in Hemmathagama.

It was reported that the driver of the vehicle fell asleep resulting in the accident.

The victim was identified as a 67-year-old Australian citizen

Another Australian and the driver were among those admitted to hospital with injuries. (Colombo Gazette)
