Iraqi Finance Min. Encourages Saudi Investment, Bolstering Coop.
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, April 5 (KUNA) -- Iraqi Minister of Finance Taif Sami called on Saudi companies to invest in Iraq as part of efforts cementing bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
The Ministry mentioned in statement that Sami received a Saudi delegation from Ministry of investment headed by Mishal Al-Hathal to examine cooperation opportunities across various fronts.
The two parties discussed issues of common interest, building partnerships and bolstering sustainable development.
Furthermore, the meeting handled discussion on mechanisms encouraging and attracting Saudi investments, overcoming obstacles, and facilitating direct contact between concerned ministries. (end)
