(MENAFN) The head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Mohammad Rezvani-Far, has announced that the organization is fully committed to utilizing all available customs capacities to achieve the slogan of the current Iranian calendar year, which is "Inflation Control, Production Growth." In this regard, IRICA aims to act as an economic facilitator, border guard, and supporter of the private sector to promote the development of production-oriented exports and imports, while also driving foreign trade.
To achieve this objective, IRICA plans to implement a reform document aimed at improving the customs sector. The organization will continue its strategic planning in the new year based on the policies and instructions of the 13th government concerning economic and customs affairs, as well as the plans announced by the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs.
Furthermore, Rezvani-Far emphasized that IRICA's efforts to reduce the time it takes to conduct import and export customs formalities have led to significant improvements in the past year. These measures have contributed to the growth of foreign trade in 1401.
In conclusion, IRICA's commitment to controlling inflation and boosting production in Iran reflects its dedication to supporting the country's economic development. The organization will continue to work diligently to implement the necessary reforms and strategic plans to achieve these goals.
