Russian Army Kills One Civillian, Injures Two in Donetsk Region
(MENAFN) Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk regional military administration, has reported that the Russian army killed one civilian and injured two more in the Donetsk region on March 26. Kyrylenko made the statement in a Telegram post, expressing his concern over the rising number of casualties in the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
The killing of a resident in Krasnohorivka and the injuries sustained by two others in the region highlight the ongoing challenges faced by civilians in the Donetsk region. The conflict between Ukraine and Russia has been ongoing since 2014, with frequent clashes and military activity in the region. The situation remains tense, with both sides engaging in military activities and diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict proving ineffective.
Kyrylenko also noted that it is currently impossible to establish the exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha, further highlighting the difficulties faced by civilians in the region. The continued violence and military activity in the region pose a significant threat to the safety and security of citizens, as well as the stability of the region as a whole.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy launched two missile attacks, 23 air strikes, and carried out 38 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and the civilian infrastructure of populated areas on March 26. The ongoing attacks and violence serve as a reminder of the need for continued vigilance and preparedness to protect the country's citizens and national security.
The Ukrainian government and Armed Forces continue to work towards a peaceful resolution to the conflict, while also taking measures to ensure the safety of citizens and maintain national security. The situation in the Donetsk region remains a major concern, with the potential for further violence and conflict continuing to pose a significant threat to stability in the region.
