Doha: Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs H E Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met with Canada's Assistant Deputy Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship for Afghanistan H E Jennifer Macintyre, who is visiting the country.
During the meeting, they touched on prospects for cooperation between the two countries in improving the quality of life for refugees in countries of common interest. They considered ways to provide support to the Afghan people in the education field, especially girls.
They also discussed the progress in the plan to develop the health field in Afghanistan, and the results of the roundtable meeting hosted by Qatar between a delegation from Afghanistan and two delegations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef), in addition to the latest developments in Afghanistan.
