190 More Afghans Released From Pakistani Jails, Sent Homeland


(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) KABUL (Pajhwok): About 190 Afghan nationals have been released from jails in Pakistan's Sindh province and sent to their homeland, the Afghan Embassy in Islamabad says.

The Embassy of Afghanistan wrote on its twitter page that 190 Afghan prisoners were released from the jails of Sindh province yesterday following efforts of the embassy and the Afghan Consulate in Karachi.

The embassy said so far 1,893 Afghan prisoners have been released from Pakistani prisons and deported to the country with the embassy and the consulate bearing the transportation expenses.
