5 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Eastern Siberia


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) An earthquake measuring 5 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Sunday night eastern Siberia, Russia.
According to the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the epicentre of the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km.
There have been no reports of material damage or casualties as a result of the earthquake.
On Feb 16, an earthquake of 5.9 magnitude hit the Lake Baikal basin in southern Siberia.
