Four Districts Of Kharkiv Region Come Under Enemy Fire


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Over the past day, March 17, Russian troops used S-300 missile systems, artillery, mortars, and heavy machine guns to shell the border areas in Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Chuhuiv, and Bohodukhiv districts of Kharkiv region.

“Strilecha, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Dvorichna, Velykyi Burluk, Hrianykivka, Chervona Zoria and other settlements came under enemy fire,” Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, posted on telegram .

According to him, 'the enemy launched two missile strikes on Velykyi Burluk in Kupyansk district. One of the missiles hit the yard of a residential building. At least 20 neighboring houses and outbuildings were damaged.'

Another missile hit the ground in the territory of the Velykyi Burluk district police department, also damaging a fire and rescue station, six private cars, and neighboring residential buildings. No casualties were reported.

Humanitarian demining of the region is ongoing. Over the past day, the State Emergency Service technicians examined almost 2.5 ha of territory and neutralized 69 explosive objects.

As reported, on March 15, the Russian army struck the civilian infrastructure of Kharkiv.
