(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH, March 14 (KUNA) - Israeli occupation troops shot dead on Friday a Palestinian young man near Al-Bireh city, central of the occupied West Bank, according medics.
In a press statement, the Palestinian Health Ministry identified the victim as 23-year-old Yazan Omar Khseib.
It pointed out that Khseib was shot by the Israeli troops at an Israeli security checkpoint at the entrance to the city of Al-Bireh.
The Israeli soldiers kept Khseib after he was critically injured in their fire until he breathed his last a few minutes later.
The latest Israeli crime brings up the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli occupation forces since the beginning of the year to 89, including 17 children and an elderly woman. (end)
