(MENAFN) The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released an evening report detailing the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. According to the report, during the day, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched 10 strikes on the enemy personnel and military equipment clusters, while missile and artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit two enemy manpower clusters. However, the enemy also launched nine missile strikes, 10 airstrikes, and more than 20 MLRS attacks on Ukrainian positions.

Despite this, the operational situation in Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna directions remains without significant changes. The enemy continues to maintain a military presence near the state border of Ukraine, but no signs of the formation of offensive groups have been detected.

However, the enemy carried out several unsuccessful assaults in Kupyansk and Lyman directions. In addition, an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group was spotted in Bolohivka area, but the Defense Forces opened fire and the enemy retreated to the territory of the Russian Federation. Russian troops also shelled several areas, including settlements in Kharkiv, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions with artillery.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops near several settlements, including Spirne, Vesele, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Berkhivka, Yahidne, Bakhmut, and Ozarianivka. The enemy is actively conducting aerial reconnaissance to adjust artillery fire, and areas of 18 settlements were shelled.

In Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions, the occupiers went on an unsuccessful offensive near Novobakhmutivka, Vodiane, Nevelske, Marinka, and Prechystivka. The areas of 20 settlements, including Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Vodiane, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, and Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk region, came under artillery fire.

In Zaporizhzhia direction, the areas of several settlements in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions were struck with artillery. In Kherson direction, the settlements of Kherson region located on the right bank of the Dnipro River, particularly Novotiahynka, Antonivka, and Chornobayivka, were hit with artillery.

The report also revealed that the Russian invaders were using the local infrastructure in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region for their own purposes, including their own enrichment. At one of the service stations in Tokmak, the invaders not only maintain their military equipment but also disassemble cars stolen from the local population into spare parts for further sale.

Despite the ongoing attacks and attempts by the enemy, the Ukrainian forces have shown their resilience and have struck back against the enemy assaults. The conflict between Ukraine and Russia shows no signs of stopping, and the situation on the ground remains tense.
