Saudi bourse loses 9.12 points at Wednesday’s end


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index saw a drop of 9.12 points — or 0.08 percent — on Wednesday to end standing at 10,783.73.

MSCI Tadawul 30 Index and the similar market Nomu ended unaffected reaching an amount of 1,489.74 and 19,147.98, individually.

TASI’s overall exchange turnover of the main index on Wednesday reached an amount of SR3.67 billion (USD1.22 billion), with 97 shares of the registered 224 increasing and 114 decreasing.

Salama Cooperative Insurance Co. was the highest earner of the session, surging 8.77 percent to reach SR12.40.

The additional top earners were Abdulmohsen Alhokair Group for Tourism and Development, Arabian Pipes Co., Alinma Tokio Marine Co. as well as Saudi Chemical Co..

The worst decliner was Saudi Industrial Investment Group, which dropped 4.6 percent to reach SR23.66.

SIIG mentioned in report that a net profit following zakat and tax of SR277 million for 2022, declining 76 percent from SR1.13 billion two years ago (2021).
