Knife attack at a metro station in the Belgian capital
(MENAFN- Hip Hop-24) A person was injured in a knife attack that took place, Monday, at the Schuman Square metro station in the Belgian capital, Brussels.
Schumann Square is surrounded by European Union institutions.
According to eyewitnesses, the Belgian police arrested the perpetrator of the attack.
Commenting on the incident, Brussels Mayor Philippe Clos said in a tweet on Twitter that the police arrested the attacker immediately.
For its part, STİB, the metro operator, said the station was closed for a short period.
