(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Jeddah, January 26, 2023, SPA -- Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hissein Brahim Taha received here today Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Contractors in Islamic Countries (FOCIC) Eng. Zakariya Abdulrahman Al-Abdulqader, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the OIC Secretary General underscored the importance of contractors in driving development in OIC Member States and commended the efforts of the FOCIC towards creating and developing professional ties among contractors in OIC countries.
The two sides discussed the outcome of the Constituent General Assembly Meeting of the FOCIC held at the Islamic Development Bank headquarters in Jeddah. They also agreed on promoting the FOCIC and its activities in all OIC member states, given their significant contribution in terms of scale and share in the development process for OIC countries.
