'The air defense system has been activated in Engels. This is not the first time that the local military airfield is under attack,' reads a report posted on baza Telegram channel.



As reported, on the night into Monday, December 26, explosions rang out at the strategic military airfield in Engels. It is from this military airfield that all massive Russian missile attacks on Ukraine are carried out. Tu-95 and Tu-160 strategic bombers are stationed there. According to unofficial information, Russia's Ministry of Defense confirmed the death of three service members.
