(MENAFN- KNN India) Expo Organic North East to be held in Assam from Feb 3-5 next year

Guwahati, Dec 28 (KNN) The agricultural department of Assam is all set to host the first expo on Organic North East from February 3rd to 5th, 2023.

The expo is being organised by the Sikkim State Cooperative supply and Marketing Federation Ltd (SIMFED).

The vision of the Expo is to bring national and global visibility to the North Eastern Region as a hotbed of organic and natural produce.

As per reports, Over 160 organic and natural brand will display a wide range of organic food and non-food products at the expo.

The organic north east expo will include a high-quality exhibition from leading companies in naturals, organics, and exports, as well as agribusinesses, B2B meetings, B2C events, international and domestic buyer delegations, an International Conference, Farmers' Workshop, and government/department pavilions.

Various pavilions set up by the Central and State Governments will aim to provide farmer groups with knowledge about different government schemes and marketing assistance.

During the course of the event, a two-day knowledge-sharing conference will be organised. It will bring in top exporters from India and around the world. More than 200 delegates from various sectors, including farmers, traders/exporters, researchers, NGOs, and state and federal governments will participate.

The event is going to be held at College Play Ground College of Veterinary Science A.A.U Khanapara Guwahati Assam.
