Massive global traction ChatGPT
San Francisco-based OpenAI was founded in 2015 by a group of leading researchers and entrepreneurs, including Elon Musk, Sam Altman, and Greg Brockman. The goal of the organization was to advance the field of AI, and to ensure that AI is developed in a safe and responsible way. The research and development firm recently launched ChatGPT, which is an AI software application designed to mimic human-like conversation. The tool had massive traction with over one million people signing up within the first week according to Sam Altman, CEO and co-founder of OpenAI. Global (social) media flooded with speculations about ChatGPT's impact and examples from early adopters.
Fundamental Shift
'The newly published book is a result of combining Artificial Intelligence – AI, and Human Creativity – HC.' according to serial tech entrepreneur Schouten. She came into contact with OpenAI and other AI organisations during a recent visit to Seattle and the Bay Area and saw first-hand the profound impact AI can have on researchers, developers, entrepreneurs and content creators a like.
'ChatGPT is just one example of AI and the impact it can have with its language generation, translation, summarization, sentiment analysis and conversation modelling.' Although the writing process and the outcome is very different from her previous book publications – the WealthTECH book and Monkey Money Mind, 'It is an example how AI makes information accessible, lowering the barrier to express yourself, time-to-market and hence democratizing content creation,' states Schouten. She explains that it will help not only content professionals, but also people who have struggled with language and writing, 'That is why I set out to write a book with ChatGPT and AI in under one week.'
High tech and crypto made simple
Given her background in FinTech, Schouten decided that the book should cover everything from the basics of artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, cryptocurrencies all the way to advanced topics in algorithmic crypto trading. Plus, it includes an evaluation of jointly writing a book with artificial intelligence, as well as more unusual FinTech book content such as haikus, poems, a Metallica-style song, and a Star Wars-like excerpt movie script in an easy and lighthearted way.
