China attempts to grow exchange relations with Iran

(MENAFN) Saeid Eshtiaqi, a board member of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) informed IRNA on Monday that financial ties among Iran and China are on a rising trajectory and the Asian nation is still looking growth of relations with the Islamic Republic.
“This country [China] has stood by Iran in difficult times and has been among Iran’s friendly countries,” Eshtiaqi stated.
He mentioned that the vice prime minister of China will take a trip Iran in the approaching weeks.
Referring to the inking of the complete 25-year collaboration deal among Iran and China, the official stated that “We should use the opportunities presented by this agreement to our interests.”
The ICCIMA board member also stated that that Iran’s oil shipments to China have surged in latest months, also mentioning that “This country was one of Iran's major target markets at the height of the sanctions and did not leave Iran alone as a friend and supporter in times of hardship.”
