Qatar joins 17th gathering of SMIIC in Istanbul


(MENAFN) The State of Qatar attended the 17th Meeting of the General Assembly of the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which was hosted on Tuesday in Istanbul, the Republic of Turkey.

The State of Qatar sent a representative to the gathering which is the Head of Qatar General Organization for Standards and Metrology H E Eng. Mohammed bin Saud Al Musallam.

The gathering talked about an amount of matters that were on the framework and studied the accomplishments of the focused committees and what has been forced from the agreed work agendas, on top of the offers of the planned framework for 2023-2024.
