Kuwait Money Technology Summit Kicks Off


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 14 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's first money technology summit, organized by Al-Jarida newspaper, kicked off on Monday with the participation of business pioneers and company owners.
In a speech at the opening ceremony, the newspaper's chief editor Khaled Al-Mutairi said the summit aims to develop content and communication networks.
Since Al-Jarida was first launched in 2007, it had focused on presenting media that support decision making and protect pubic budget, he noted.
The summit focuses on the importance of enhancing media services to folllow up on the rapid economic changes and technologies, he added.
It will also showcase opportunities presented by digital banking sevices and Kuwaiti banks, as well as Islamic banking opportunities. (end)
