(MENAFN- UkrinForm) President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that all stories of aggressors end with punishment, which awaits the Russian authorities as well. “All stories of aggressors end with punishment. It is also waiting for the Russian authorities. Several parliamentary assemblies and national parliaments have already voted in support of the creation of a tribunal for Russian aggression against our country,” Zelensky on Telegram.
The President also shared a new episode of , about the history of trials for war crimes.
As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky formed a working group on the creation of a special international tribunal to bring to justice those guilty of aggression against Ukraine.
The creation of such a tribunal was supported by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the European Parliament, the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
Kyiv is working on several options for the creation of a special tribunal, with one of them based on an agreement between Ukraine and the UN that can adopt a respective resolution.
