Soyoung Oh

Soyoung Oh is a a Junior Research Fellow at Climate Policy Lab. She was previously an Assistant Researcher at CPL. Before joining CPL, she worked for Columbia University's Center on Sustainable Investment and a macroeconomic and geopolitical advisory firm, Greenmantle LLC. in New York City. Her research interests include the political economy of energy and environment, climate finance, and climate governance. She received her M.I.A. in trade policy and global economic governance from Baruch College, City University of New York, and her B.B.A. from Dongguk University in Seoul, South Korea. In her master's thesis, she conducted a comparative study of the governance structures of the Export-Import Bank of China and ADB on mitigating environmental and social risks, which was presented at the APPAM 2021 Student Research Seminar.
