Education Ministry Honours Winners Of National Olympiad

Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education, represented by the mathematics department of the Educational Guidance Department, honoured the winning students in the National olympiad for Creativity in Mathematics, Science and Engineering 2022.

The competition aims to encourage the learning of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics in an integrated manner, which is known as the (STEAM) system. It also contributes to the introduction and integration of artificial intelligence and technology into the educational process at all levels, and the development of students in specialized fields that support innovation and competitiveness.

At the honouring ceremony, the Head of the Mathematics Department at the Ministry, Latifa Al Hardan, praised the efforts of the participants in organising the competition. 

He reviewed various stages of the competition, pointing out that 36 winning students were honoured from among 9 teams of different academic levels.

The National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity in Mathematics, Science and Engineering is organised in cooperation with the College of Engineering at Qatar University, Texas A&M University at Qatar, and Qatar Scientific Club.
