Itajaí Hosted First Roadshow Of Maritime Trade Fair

São Paulo – Businesspeople and representatives of governments and institutions related to the ocean economy gathered on Monday (17) in the auditorium of port of Itajaí for the roadshow of Navall Show Brazil – Trade Fair & Forum . The city, which will host the maritime trade show in November 2023, is a major shipbuilding industry hub.

“There's a very large room for generating new business, and I believe our industry will greatly expand by connecting to this shipbuilding hub,” said captain Paulo Albuquerque, director of AC Soluções and founder of Navall Show, in his presentation.“This is an event focused on matchmaking. We'll hold activities before, during and after the event,” he said.

Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) Institutional Relations analyst Elaine Silva Prates (pictured) participated in the presentation of the Navall Show Brazil project. Prates presented on the topic“Arab World and Blue Economy – Prospects for the Industry,” when she mentioned a series of events the region has recently held focused on the development of the Blue Economy and the role the ocean and coastal economic activities play in diversifying the economy.“There are many opportunities for the ocean economy and sustainability. After all, the Arab countries border on the sea,” she said. The ABCC supports the event.

Roadshow in Itajaí

The roadshow provided a networking opportunity for the attendees, which included representatives from the Development Secretariat, the Commercial Association, the city's Captain of Ports Department, trade press, and businesspeople

Navall Show Brazil plans on presenting technologies and solutions that directly impact transport, leisure, sustainability, maritime defense, and public security, as well as networking opportunities, lead generation, and knowledge sharing.

The maritime trade fair expects to attract businesspeople, executives, port and shipyard professionals, and shipbuilding industry and sea technology associations, as well as representatives from the Armed Forces and the security, leisure and fishery industries.
