Technical-engineering services delivered to oil, gas wells increase 22 percent

(MENAFN) The deputy managing manager of National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) for the technical and engineering businesses stated the 22-percent expansion of integrated technical and engineering services to oil and gas wells in the first half of the recent Iranian calendar year (March 21-September 22), against the same period in 2021.

Shahram Shamsipour noted that these services are offered to the applicant businesses by the two departments of technical services and special training services.

The technical and special training services are diverse and over 20 specialized operations that are delivered to the wells being drilled, in addition to the wells in operation, and play an important role in maintaining and rising output, the official also said.

Stating the fact that this firm has authorities and the needed equipment in this field, the official stressed: “Currently, these services are provided to oil companies that are the subsidiaries of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and private sector companies active in the field of drilling industry, and the ability in this field is the distinguishing feature of the National Iranian Drilling Company, compared to well-known drilling companies in the world.”
