QNL To Host Photo Exhibition Marking Anniversary Of Qatari-French Relations

Doha: The Qatar National Library (QNL) will host a photography exhibition titled 'Qatar-France: 50 Years of Friendship' on Tuesday.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Qatar and France, the exhibition will showcase photographs taken during historical moments that forged the now well-established tradition of cooperation between France and Qatar. This exhibition will take the visitors on a 50-year journey of bilateral relations in the political, economic, cultural, defense, security, and education fields.

The Minister of State and QNL President, H E Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, and the Ambassador of France to Qatar, Jean-Baptiste Faivre, will deliver the opening speeches.

Qatar and France have several agreements covering various economic, political, cultural, and scientific fields.

In 2020, Qatar and France celebrated the cultural year between the two countries by organizing several joint cultural events.
