Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, said in a Telegram post Ukrinform reports.

“Either a hayloft, or firewood.They don't allow civilians to live peacefully in Myropillia. This evening, the Russians opened mortar fire, the territory of the community was struck 20 times,' the regional governor said.

He added that there are no victims among the local population. Information on the destruction is being clarified.

As Ukrinform reported, on August 17, Russian troops shelled eight settlements in Sumy region, destroying a school, a palace of culture, a power line and other facilities.
