(MENAFN- UkrinForm) On July 8, Ukrainian demining units neutralized 1,491 explosive objects, including 11 aerial bombs.

The State Emergency Service said this a Telegram post , Ukrinform reports.

Demining units of the State Emergency Service were called out 129 times on July 8. The area of 151 hectares was surveyed.

Most mine clearance operations were conducted in the Kharkiv region (6,008 times), Kyiv region (3, 975), Chernihiv region (2,553), Mykolaiv region (1,425), Cherkasy region (846), and Sumy region (784).

Overall, since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, demining units have disposed 157,172 explosive items and 662 kg of explosive materials, including 2,066 aerial bomb. The area of 64,037 hectares was surveyed.
