At G20 Meeting, U.S. Will Raise Issue Of Russia's War Against Ukraine - State Department


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) At the G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Indonesia, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will discuss with international partners the ways to confront challenges connected with Russia's war against Ukraine, including food and energy insecurity.

The U.S. Department of State said this a press statement released on Tuesday, Ukrinform reports.

“Secretary Blinken will first travel to Bali, Indonesia, to attend the G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting, where he will reinforce our commitment to working with international partners to confront global challenges, including food and energy insecurity and the threat Russia's continued war against Ukraine presents to the international order,” the statement says.

It is noted that the Secretary will also hold a bilateral meeting with Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi. 

As reported, this year Indonesia chairs the Group of 20 most advanced economies.
