Qatar's Al Saad Excels At Youth Equestrian Games

Doha: Qatar's Saad Ahmed Al Saad excelled at the FEI Youth Equestrian Games at Aachen 2022 in Germany, yesterday, finishing a remarkable fourth riding 10-year-old chestnut mare DSP Cessy. 

In the showjumping competition with jump-off of heights 115-130cm, Al Saad clocked 78.13 secs being flawless in the first round and a flawless 32.83secs in the jump-off. Al Saad was error-free in both the rounds and was honoured for being among the top eight riders at the prestigious youth event.

Thomas Van Ruckevorsel of South Africa topped the competition astride Lucy 781 with a time of 31.69secs in the jump-off. Jad Guerraoui of Morocco on Lady Anegeles was second (31.83) and Mimi Gochman of USA on Merino Van De Achterhoek, third (32.56).

Riders from over 30 countries participated in the event.
