Acting Charge D'affaires Of Qatar's Embassy To Malta Lauds Bilateral Ties

Doha: Acting Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of Qatar to the Republic of Malta Khalid Ali Abdullah Abel praised the friendship ties that bind the two countries in various fields and the keenness of Doha and Valletta to develop and strengthen these ties.

Speaking to QNA, he affirmed that the current official visit of President of the Republic of Malta H E George Vella to Qatar comes within the framework of the joint efforts made toward strengthening the friendship ties and supporting the bilateral relations to encompass all fields, especially after the remarkable development that has been made at the political, economic and cultural level during the recent years.

He said that the visit of the President of the Republic of Malta is anticipated to give a strong impetus to the good bilateral relations between the two countries and contribute to opening new cooperation prospects to serve the joint interests and the future of these relations at all levels.

Acting Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Malta said that the visit of President of Malta to Qatar is the first one by H E to the region in the post-COVID-19 pandemic phase following the general elections in the Republic of Malta held in March. He asserted that the President of Malta attaches great importance to the Qatari-Maltese relations and ways of supporting and developing them.
