Leading travel management company Tawfeeq Travel has opened a“Travel Hub” at the Hamad International Airport (HIA) metro station.
'Not only residents of Qatar, but visitors from all over the globe can now experience world-class travel services and products while travelling through Qatar's award-winning Hamad International Airport,' the company said in a statement.
The HIA offers global travellers convenient connectivity through its strategic location.
Additionally, it delivers a mosaic of cultural, retail, and hospitality offerings encompassed in a secure and efficient airport experience.
Besides being a retail outlet, the new“Travel Hub” offers 'Qatar's first' baggage drop-off and storage solution to travellers.
This service is available six days a week from 10am-8pm, Saturday to Thursday, with prices starting from QR30 per day per bag.
The storage facility boasts of CCTV-monitored rooms with state-of-the-art electronic locks for safety of the baggage, which are sealed with tamper-proof security seals, the statement notes.
Delivery options include transportation of the luggage to home, office or any choice of destination in Doha.
