Ukraine decides how much land it exchanges to achieve peace, NATO says

(MENAFN) NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg declared that the US-led bloc wants to build up Ukraine’s view at the talks, but said that any peace agreement would include negotiations, counting on land.

Stoltenberg was talking at the Kultaranta Talks in Finland, after a conference with Finnish Leader Sauli Niinisto.

As the NATO head claimed that the West was planning to “pay a price” to reinforce the Ukrainian military, Kiev must make some regional compromises to Moscow to stop the recent war in Ukraine.

He summarized “Peace is possible,” “The only question is what price are you willing to pay for peace? How much territory, how much independence, how much sovereignty…are you willing to sacrifice for peace?”
