Tunisian leader dismisses dozens of judges

(MENAFN) Tunisian Leader Kais Saied has fired loads of juries, accusing them of dishonesty and defending terrorists.

Stating throughout a Cabinet conference on Wednesday, Saied quoted disturbance of examination into terrorist belongings, defending a terror suspect and economic dishonesty for his conclusion to sack these judges.

Soon after his comments, a high-level verdict issued by the official gazette declared the sacking of 57 judges.

Between those fired was Youssef Bouzaker, the former chief of the Supreme Judicial Council whose associates the Tunisian leader swapped this year.

Additional noticeable judge among the names was Bachir Akremi, whom Saied’s followers accuse of being too close to the Ennahda Party.
