KJA's Treasurer Alal-Khail Elected Member Of IFJ's Executive Cmte
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, June 3 (KUNA) -- Treasurer of Kuwait Journalists Association (KJA) Dehairan Abal-Khail has been elected member of the International Federation of Journalists' (IFJ) executive committee during the union 31st congress hosted by Oman.
The KJA said in a statement on Friday Abal-Khail won the post, having garnered 128 votes of the federation general assembly.
The voting was held at the conventions hall in the Omani capital, Muscat, involving unions and societies under the IFJ's umbrella -- grouping more than 120 entities. (end)
