Disappearance of aircraft with 22 passengers in Nepal
(MENAFN) Officials in Nepal stated on Sunday that a private jet carrying 22 people had mysteriously disappeared as well as Tara Air's 9N-AET twin Otter aircraft took off from Pokhara.
A search and rescue effort has been initiated, according to Fanindra Mani Pokharel, a top Home Ministry official.
He declared that helicopters had been dispatched to locate it, "there were 19 passengers and three crew members on the plane,” Pokharel also mentioned that the plane lost communication after taking off from the airport on Sunday morning.
A few Indian people were also on board, according to the English Daily Kathmandu Post.
