MSME Ministry extends National MSME Awards application date to April 30
New Delhi, April 21 (KNN) The Ministry of MSME has extended the application date for the National MSME Awards to April 30, 2022.
Before the extension announced on Thursday, the last date to submit the application was April 20 which now gives 9 more days for MSMEs to apply for the awards.
The final approval for the list of awardees will be given by Narayan Rane, Union Minister for MSME.
Firstly the online applications will be received at the Directorate of MSME-DI level for submission before the State Level Selection Committee (SLSC) for their onward recommendation to the NLSC level.
MSME-DI of respective States/UTs will forward the State Level Selection Committee (SLSC)'s recommended eligible and qualifying MSMEs applications online along with the recommendations in the enclosed format to the office of the Development Commissioner (MSME).
The SLSC recommended applications will further be scrutinized at the National Level by the team of officers for evaluating the mark as per the criteria before submitting to NLSC for selection and recommendation of the awardees for obtaining final approval of the Union Minister for MSME.
There are a total 21 awards belonging to the general category out of which 12 awards are for manufacturing entrepreneurship, 9 awards for service entrepreneurship and in all of these awards rewards ranging to Rs 1 to Rs 3 lakh will be presented to the winners.
