Qatar's Golden Masjid .. A symphony of heritage, modernity

The mosque, overseen by the cultural village foundation (Katara), is inlaid with tiny pieces of gold, and its minaret shines a bright golden color, inspired by the design of old Qatari mosques.
The mosque's main building includes a prayer area and a sanctuary decorated with Arabic letters and embellishments, and its wooden doors are bedecked with ottoman-style adornments known as the art of kundekari.
