Kinder Surprise MAXI chocolate eggs recalled
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in cooperation with Merch and partners, has announced the recall campaign of kinder surprise MAXI chocolate eggs 100g, made in Belgium, batch numbers: L004L03 & L005L03-AD, due to possible contamination with salmonella bacteria. The MoCI said the recall campaign comes to assure immediate stop of using the product, and return it temporarily to the vendor, stressing that it will follow up to withdraw all the quantities subjected to contamination from all selling ports across the country.
The MoCI said that it will coordinate with the dealer to follow up on the recall campaign and will communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary actions are carried out.
